Where does Bunches deliver?
Within the metro areas of Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, and to CFB Namao. We cannot deliver to TWP or RR addresses that are in rural areas, however, we will contact the recipient and arrange for a pick up at the nearest Bunches location. If a pick up is arranged, the cost of the delivery will be used to add flowers to the bouquet.
What happens to my order when a florist attempts delivery and no one is home to receive the flowers?
Often, Bunches will call ahead to check if someone will be home to receive the flowers. However, if nobody is at a residence when a delivery is attempted, the florist may choose to:
- Leave the arrangement with a neighbor and place a message on the recipient’s door referring them to the neighbor who accepted for them.
- Leave a note on the door of the recipient’s home asking them to call the florist and schedule an appropriate delivery time. The driver will return the flowers to the nearest Bunches location.
- Leave the arrangement in a covered area of the home (porch or other entrance).
- Return the flowers to the nearest Bunches location and call the recipient to establish another, more suitable, delivery time.
If you do not wish for the delivering florist to use any of these procedures, please make sure that you use the “Special Delivery Instructions” box located on the Delivery Information Page.
Can I request a specific time for the delivery of my arrangement?
We cannot guarantee a time of delivery other than (a) before 2pm, or (b) after 2 pm. Same-day orders going to businesses should be placed before 9am, or place order for the next day. Around major holiday events (such as Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day) it is impossible to specify any delivery time.
What is the cost for delivery?
The delivery charge is $13.99 for regular deliveries in Edmonton, central St. Albert, and central Sherwood Park. Deliveries to outlying RR or TWP addresses may be unavailable or require a delivery charge of $29.99. Delivery charge for large or multi-piece orders, such as flowers for weddings or funerals, is $29.99. In some instances, a cab can be arranged for a direct door-to-door delivery, though some restrictions apply, and the cost will vary.
Why does my floral arrangement look different than the photo?
To ensure the freshest flower delivery, certain flowers may arrive in their bud stage (especially lilies and roses). This increases your flowers’ shelf life so you can enjoy them longer. Please allow 2-3 days for the flowers to reach full bloom. Ensure the container is topped up with water. In addition, many of the photos on the website are styled as one-sided arrangements. This means, for the photo shoot, all the flowers have been gathered to the front, so they can all face the camera. The arrangement that is delivered contains the same number of flowers, but they may be arranged throughout the vase, which will give it a slightly different look. Container styles and colours vary seasonally and with current inventory. Any changes or flower substitutions are always made to a higher value, at no extra charge.
Is there any special information needed to deliver an arrangement to a hospital, school, institution, or business?
For hospital deliveries, please make sure to include the name of the recipient, hospital and room number or ward. Your arrangement will be delivered to the floor nurse’s station, as most hospitals do not allow floral delivery drivers into individual rooms. Lilies of any kind are prohibited in hospitals, nursing homes, and most care homes due to their strong fragrance. Highly scented flowers are not recommended in these environments. Patients in cardiac wards, some cancer wards, and ICU are not permitted flowers. Latex balloons are not permitted in pediatric wards.
Can I change or cancel my order after it has been placed?
Bunches is unable to cancel or change an order that is already en route or delivered. Same-day orders are processed immediately, and usually cannot be changed. However, with advance warning, orders may be altered or cancelled. If you have information that is pertinent to the delivery of an order, immediately call the Bunches location at which the order was initially placed. <Link here to our locations/ contact us page>

Is warm or cold water better for my cut flowers?
After re-cutting the stems, it is preferable to start your cut flowers in a vase of luke-warm water. The only exceptions to this rule are spring bulb flowers such as: tulips, daffodils, and iris. For more complete instructions, Click here to go to our General Flower Tips Section.
Do you deliver in the wintertime?
Absolutely! Colourful, fresh flowers are most appreciated during our long, chilly winters. Bunches uses many techniques to ensure flowers are protected from harsh weather elements throughout the year. Floral deliveries and pickups from any of our locations is perfectly safe in the wintertime.
How long do flowers last out of water?
Properly wrapped and kept in a cool environment, cut flowers can be stored comfortably for 5 hours or more. Some dehydration of the blooms may occur, but after following the cutting instructions included with every package <link here to “Treating Flowers Like a Pro”> and placing bouquet into warm water, the flowers will resume drinking and continue blooming. For prolonged periods of storage, a water tube or small block of floral foam may be appropriate.
